Outamba-Kilimi National Park lies in the north of Sierra Leone, near the border with Guinea, in a transition zone between savanna and forest. It is one of the country's most established parks for larger wildlife.

The park is known for hippos along its rivers, as well as elephants, several primate species, and a wide range of birds. Its two sections, Outamba and Kilimi, together protect a varied landscape of grassland, woodland, and waterways.

Activities include walking safaris, river trips by canoe, and birdwatching, usually with park guides. Basic accommodation is available for visitors staying overnight.
